Please join us in welcoming Pandit Sandip Ghosh, the vocalist with the golden voice, together with accompanists Dayita Datta (vocal), Pt. Shashanka Bakshi (tabla), and Pankaj Mishra (tabla). The musicians will regale us with Khayal (literally "imagination"), Thumri ("coloration"), Bhajan ("adoration"), and other traditional Indian forms of joyous, ornate, vocal astonishment.
